Burning conditions have escalated to a level which makes any burning activity unsafe, therefore:

Effective Friday, April 1, 2016 at 12:00 p.m., the Summer Village of Itaska Beach declares a TOTAL FIRE BAN within the entire Summer Village of Itaska Beach boundaries. This ban includes any open fires, including: camp and recreational fires, and fireworks.

The ban will remain in effect until such time as conditions warrant.
