The Himalayan Balsam eradication project at Pigeon Lake is entering its 7th year.

This program has been very successful in eradicating this prohibited noxious weed from the shoreline of Pigeon Lake however there are still a few locations in the watershed where they persist.

Residents are encouraged to patrol their properties to ensure there are none of these plants growing.
