Smith Park
Smith Park was donated by the Smith Family to honour the memory of Elizabeth and Robert Smith, founders of Itaska Beach in 1934.  There is a rock path to walk through, and benches surrounding an area full of low growing junipers and other plants.

          Tennis Court

Professional plexipave surface. With anticipation of a busy tennis season this year, a sign-in board has been created and is posted on the side of the tennis court. There is a place for you to sign your name when you first start playing. You can also write your name down if you are waiting to play - this will allow you to leave for 20 minutes, and come back without losing your place in line!

Please wipe the board off with a clean, dry cloth.  If it becomes too dirty, a small amount of isopropyl alcohol may be used.

IMPORTANT: Tennis court net should have a bit of a bow in the net - do NOT over tighten as the crank will get stripped, and the poles will be pulled (professional tennis nets are not super tight).

           Basketball Court
In 2008 a plexipave surface was installed on the basketball court, making a great play area.

Boat Launch

NOTICE: The Itaska Boat Launch will be closed this year.  Council has reviewed its options on the boat launch for this year, and has decided that the water is too low to warrant any expenditure on attempting to extend the launch for 2010.  Due to muddy conditions and low water for some distance from shore, we are recommending that you take your boats to Mulhurst for launching this year.

Boating

Speed limit within the buoys is 10 km / hr.

Trails
